Martin Steele, President and Chief Executive Officer, joined The Bank in June 2013. Mr. Steele spent the prior three years at Charter Bank in Bellevue, a subsidiary of Boston Private Bank, where he served as President & CEO. Prior to Charter Bank, Mr. Steele held senior management positions at Commerce Bank of Washington and Bank of America. Mr. Steele's civic involvement has included board of trustee positions with Seattle Opera, Boy Scouts, ACT Theatre, Junior League, Multiple Schlerosis Society, Music Aid Northwest, Salvation Army, Imagine Housing, and the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce.

Dave Huguenin, Senior Consultant of Commercial Lending, joined The Bank of Washington in October 2015. Mr. Huguenin brings to the bank a highly respectable banking career spanning 45 years. Most recently, Mr. Huguenin founded two banks, both in Bellevue. In 2008, he organized Core Business Bank, later acquired by Puget Sound Bank. Prior to that, he established Foundation Bank, growing the start-up community bank to over $240 million. The Bank of Washington is privileged to call Mr. Huguenin a colleague, bringing proven leadership skills and a remarkable business development acumen to the team. He is a native Washingtonian and a graduate of the University of Washington and Pacific Coast Banking School.
