Marty Steele, President & CEO, personally invites you to explore our website. As you click through these pages, you'll learn more about our brand of community banking and the comprehensive range of lending and depository products and services we have to offer. Whether you're a business looking for a bank to grow with, or a local consumer shopping for a friendly community bank to safeguard your deposits, you've come to the right place!
The Bank of Washington is a locally-owned, full-service commercial bank headquartered in Lynnwood, Washington. Founded in 1996 by a group of local businessmen, we began as The Bank of Edmonds. In April 2000, our name changed to The Bank of Washington to better reflect our growing market base. From that single office in Edmonds, we have now grown to a multi-branch bank with locations in Edmonds, Mukilteo, Lynnwood, Redmond, and Everett. We currently have 39 employees who are dedicated to their local communities and understand the value of personalized relationship banking.
The Bank of Washington is governed by a 10-member Board of Directors, chaired by Gary Schmitt, and an experienced executive team led by Marty Steele, President & CEO. To learn more about our bank's leadership, we invite you to visit Our Board and Executive Team in the Leadership section.
Our vision is to be the leading community bank in Snohomish and King Counties. We achieve this by consistently delivering Quality Local Banking to our clients. And we know our dedicated employees are the ones who consistently make that happen. If you are interested in a career with us and want to share in our vision, you can learn more about employment opportunities by visiting our Careers page.
