A Consumer Message from The Bank of Washington

Phone You may already be aware of the National DO NOT CALL REGISTRY that gives you a choice about whether to receive telemarketing calls at home. Did you know that you can also register your cell phone number?

Cell Phone Numbers Go Public this month. This means that all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sales calls. YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS.

To prevent this, call the National DO NOT CALL Registry, 888-382-1222, from your cell phone and register your cell phone. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone number. It only takes about 20 seconds. You may also go online to the website www.donotcall.gov and register any of your numbers or verify a registration.
